Richard Seal – Project Surveyor
Richard has been with the Vortex team since August of 2020. He currently holds a Part 107 Drone License. Richard has eight (8) years of survey experience and is experienced in boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, photogrammetry, construction staking and as-built surveys.
Richard enjoys hunting, shooting, horseback riding, riding 4 wheelers and spending time with his family.
Richard Carter – Sr. Project Architect
Richard joined our team in August of 2023. Richard is licensed as an Architect in the State of Colorado and specializes in high-end residential, commercial, education and pre-engineered metal buildings.
When Richard is not working, he enjoys soccer, swimming, relaxing, beer brewing and reading.
Jessica Lopez – CAD Designer/Engineering Intern
Jessica joined the Vortex Team in March of 2022. Jessica is an important part of our CAD Design team and is also an Engineering Intern. Jessica thrives on new experiences and learning new things.
Jessica enjoys cooking, traveling and reading.
Gisette Martinez – Program Control Analyst
Gisette joined the Vortex team in July of 2023. Gisette has a very diverse background inclusive of Construction, Gas & Oil, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources & Management. Gisette understands what it takes to manage all aspects of a business from customer service and staff management to cash management.
Gisette enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and golfing.
Steven Swindell- P.E. Senior Engineer
Stephen has been with the Vortex Team since 2020. Stephen is our P.E. Senior Engineer who brings extensive knowledge and experience to our team and works daily with other team members towards customer satisfaction.
Stephen enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife.
David Shelby – Senior CAD Designer
David joined the Vortex team in May of 2006. David is a CAD Designer and a CAD Trainer and provides IT Support for Vortex. David has 30 years of experience in the industry.
David is an avid movie watcher, enjoys playing video games and is interested in Computer Technology.
Andrew Wilke – Sr. Project Engineer
Andy has been with the Vortex Team since 2020. Andy is our Senior Project Engineer and helps manage multiple projects at once. Andy brings many years of experience, is always willing to help and works hard to meet client standards.
Away from the office you can find Andy spending time with his family and helping others.
Lyle Sinicki – Project Engineer
Lyle has been with the Vortex Team since May of 2021. Lyle is one of our Project Engineers and helps manage multiple projects at once. Lyle is a natural problem solver who stays cool under pressure.
Away from the office you can find Lyle coaching his kids, being part of their activities and/or spending time with his wife. Lyle also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and muscle cars.
Kurt Shepherd – Professional Land Surveyor
Kurt has been part of the Vortex team since February of 2022. Kurt holds Professional Land Surveyor licenses in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.
Kurt has experience in many areas, such as, Land Development (Boundary, Platting & Easements), Construction Surveying, Aerial Photography & Drone Footage, Oil & Gas Surveying, Contract Negotiations, Estimating and Client Management.
Outside of work, Kurt enjoys horsemanship, hunting, fishing & camping.
Joey Yamaguchi – Project Surveyor
Joey joined the Vortex Team in February of 2014. Joey holds a QSM Manager License and a CDOT TECS License. Joey specializes in REVIT Program Design, AutoCad, Sewer Inspections and Septic System Inspections.
Joey has a love for the outdoors and loves to play golf, go hiking and camping, and enjoys riding his E-Bike. He loves space news and is a big fan of Legos.
Adam Asgari – Project Manager
Adam has been with the Vortex Team for approximately four (4) years. Adam is a Qualified Stormwater Manager and licensed in the Wrightsoft Manual J Software Interactive-C4 (ICC CEU’s 0.4 and AIA HSW/LU’s 4). Adam excels in project planning and execution and has a vast amount of technical expertise. Adam is a leader and adapts to anything thrown his way.
Adam enjoys sports, hiking and spending time outdoors.
Kent Alexander – CAD Technician
Kent joined the Vortex team in March of 2017. Kent is a CAD Tech that works diligently behind the scenes to assist our Engineers. Kent is a critical part of the team and is always willing to help.
Kent enjoys spending time with his wife and his dog, Antique Tools & Machines and immensely enjoys the Colorado outdoors and the history of it.
Michael Monroe – CAD Technician
Mike joined the Vortex team in October of 2023. Mike works closely with our Engineers and is a valuable part of the team.
Mike enjoys fishing, golfing, long road trips and spending time with his grandchildren.
Carly Aldridge – Architectural Interior Designer
Carly started with the Vortex team in June of 2023. She is a LEED Green Associate and very close to having her NCIDQ Certification.
Carly is highly organized and has a passion for creating environments that blend both function and aesthetic. Sustainability and Green Building are very important to Carly.
When not at work, Carly enjoys rock climbing, gardening and is most likely outside enjoying nature.
